The challenge

Jumbo is one of the largest supermarket chains in the Netherlands. It has more than 580 supermarkets and more than 200 pick-up points in the country (2016). Jumbo is privately owned by VanEerdGroup. In the past few years the chain has grown rapidly after several major acquisitions.

The solution

Like no one else, we understand the importance of a quick store renovation. This starts at the drawing board of our engineers. By utilizing Value Engineering we create the interior that can be efficiently produced and transported, ensuring rapid implementation on location and meeting the requirements of the recognizable look & feel of Jumbo. 

With tight project planning and clear agreements with Jumbo and its partners, we realized several attractive supermarkets within the limited time available and to the satisfaction of the client. 

The result

From early 2017, ITAB is the official Contract Supplier to Jumbo for the development and implementation of shop interiors, checkout systems and customer guidance solutions for Jumbo supermarkets in the Netherlands.
