Hunter Douglas, that deliver Custom Window Blinds, Shades, Shutters, and Drapery wanted to strengthen their physical presence. To do so, the plan was to install over 400 new shop-in-shop concepts in 6 countries. Many brands within Home Improvement/DIY chooses today to present their offer in a shop-in-shop. It´s efficient for many reasons. It places your brand in a greater context, and you have the opportunity to brand yourself as you like, closer to your customers.

The tricky part - The installation

The tricky part of a shop in shop concept is the installation. The timing and efficiency are crucial. You just don’t want to start up the co-operation by causing an impact on the store’s sales possibility. 

To solve the challenge; deliver a pleasant physical brand feeling without friction during the in-store installation, all the modules for Hunter Douglas n were designed, engineered, and produced in such a way that the assembly was made almost completely in the production site. Only the mounting of the products and smaller details were made on site. 

A satisfying result

The project ran smoothly and after 6 months, with an installation speed at 8-10 stores per week the 400 stores were done.
