With 11 million customers passing through their checkout area each week, Morrisons needed support to lock down their self-checkout areas to protect against Shrinkage, whilst ensuring that genuine customers do not experience any friction in their journey.

Initially delivered to 31 stores

ITAB have delivered our unique Smartgates solution, which combines our market-leading Sesame & Sigma gate hardware and software solution initially to 31 Morrison stores and operates without the need for a barcode to trigger the gate to open.  

Invisible to genuine customers

The Sigma gates work as a visible deterrent to anyone who does not follow the current process but allows genuine customers to continue with their regular process with no additional steps or validations required.
