Fashion store with sustainable focus
COS, an apparel brand for women and men who want modern, considered design, is using material made by recycled textiles to create a pop-up in Takashimaya.
Pop-up store to reach carefully considered location
Since launching in 2007, COS has opened shops across the world in carefully considered locations. To reach the Japanese market with the Signature COS values, and the philosophy ’buy better keep forever’, COS wanted to create a modern and welcoming pop-up store, hosting a collection especially developed for the Japanese market.
Solid Textile Board to mirror the COS signature values
To mirror the Cos signature Values, and lead the way with new interesting recyclable and reusable materials, a decision was made to build the concept in the material Solid Textile Board. Solid Textile Board are made from end-of-life cotton and wool sourced from fashion and textile industries, industrial laundries and cut offs.
Brand awareness and sustainable perception of brand
Formed like a capsule, the temporary store offers a range of pieces, reinvented classics, especially developed for the Japanese market. Louise Welsh, project manager at COS, about the project: “The COS philosophy aligns perfectly with Really Solid Textile Board.”
